Eagle Beer Bust Benefitting the Golden Dildeaux Awards
Sunday, April 6, 3-7 pm
SF Eagle, 398 12th Street
- Set-up Volunteers:
- Provide physical assistance with setting up food table and raffle prize baskets.
- Shift: 2:30 – 3:00 noon
- Beer Bust Table
- Sell cups to those participating in the beer bust
- Shifts: 3 to 5 pm, 5 to 7 pm
- Please arrive fifteen minutes before the shift start time
- Food Service Table
- Assist in distribution of food
- First shift feeds Eagle staff first
- Second shift assists with breakdown and cleanup
- Shifts: 3 to 5 pm, 5 to 7 pm
- Please arrive fifteen minutes before the shift start time
- Jello Shot Sales
- Circulate through the crowd selling jello shots
- Shifts: 4 to 5:30 pm, 5:30 to 7 pm
- Raffle Sales
- Circulate through the crowd selling raffle tickets
- Shifts: 4 to 5 pm, 5 to 6 pm
Volunteer for Eagle Beer Bust, April 6, 2025
Openings for Committee Chairs:
- Arts and Culture Committee
- Host monthly Committee meetings
- Attend monthly Board meeting to report activities from the Committee
- Develop and maintain relationships with artists and venues
- Develop programs to support artists and activate projects in the District
- Create cultural events
- Time commitment: 4-8 hours monthly
This Committee, meets on the Fourth Thursday of each month, 6-7pm. The current Committee chair is stepping down, and will provide orientation and support to the new Committee chair. For information or to express interest, please write to manager@sflcd.org.
- Safety Committee Chair
- Host monthly Committee meetings
- Attend monthly Board meeting to report activities from the Committee
- Hold community meetings to discuss safety concerns of constituents (2x yearly)
- Develop a resource page of local safety resources
- Coordinate with other organizations concerned with LGBTQ+ Safety in SF
- Time Commitment: 4-8 hours monthly
This recently formed Committee, was created after several Community Unity, Safety Forums held last year, which were produced in partnership with several other organizations. The Safety Committee chair will recruit members (from our mailing lists and beyond), and schedule meetings as appropriate. Cultural District staff and Board members will provide support. - Gear Swap Lead
- Solicit donations
- Organize gearswap holdings
- Set up gear swap day of event
- Document money transactions
- Coordinate pickup and drop off of gear swap items on day of event
- Manage gear swap inventory
- Provide staff with information regarding physical donations
- Grant Writer
- Research grants that the Cultural District may qualify for
- Write grant proposals
- Work with staff on grant submissions
- Tours Coordinator
- Set schedule
- Contact and support tour guides
- Schedule tours
- Coordinate training of new tour guides
- Maintenance Team
- Create a log of placemaking elements in the Cultural District (pole wraps, banners, and sidewalk plaques)
- Maintain log of dates checked and any damage noted
- Email ED upon any discovery of vandalism
- Report other public art maintenance needs.
